  • Supported social club for teen and young adults with autism to develop social networks and friendships with volunteer interns 
  • Social skill training, social networking events between persons with ASD and typical peers from local schools, churches, nonprofits and organized youth organizations
  • Structured social opportunities with peer mediated groups

Social Summer Camp for teens /young adults
  • Local high school volunteers will lead social group activities, supervised by professionals 
  • Have fun learning life skills including; simple meals, entertaining, household management, community integration
  • Participants will be part of a group (listening to others, expressing thoughts, and following instruction) while gaining exposure to leisure activities.
  • Building friendships with local teen peers while learning and practicing social schemas
